David Rayment will join Dr Ashley Tsacalos, Partner, Clayton Utz and others in a panel discussion hosted by the NSW Law Society on "Ethical Issues for lawyers with government clients".
This discussion will cover the model litigant policy and other ethical issues for lawyers with government clients. This seminar will be chaired by two NSW Young Lawyers from the Public Law and Government committee.
David was admitted to the NSW Bar in 2004. He was a member of Frederick Jordan Chambers for 12 years before joining 6 St James Hall Chambers in February 2016. David was a member of the NSW Bar Council in 2009 and a Tipstaff to a Judge of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2003.
David advises and appears for commercial and government based clients in complex commercial and financial disputes. His major current cases include appearing for a respondent to the Caason Investments securities class action in the Federal Court of Australia and also appearing for the Commonwealth Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development on instructions from the Australian Government Solicitor in the Badgerys Creek tenancy litigation.
