Michelle Rabsch was the Counsel Assisting the Solicitor General and Crown Advocate of NSW from January 2008 to December 2011 and from July 2015 to April 2016.

Michelle worked from August 2013 to September 2014 as the Special Counsel in the Criminal Law Group of the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office.

From January 1999 to December 2007 Michelle was employed with Minter Ellison Lawyers as a solicitor in the Employment and Industrial Relations Practice Group then as a senior associate in the  Commercial Litigation Practice Group.  

In 2004, Michelle was seconded to PIAC to set up the Homeless Persons' Legal Service and in 2007 to American Express in a general counsel role.

From January 1997 to May 1998 Michelle worked as an associate to Sir Gerard Brennan, former Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia.
