Rashda Rana SC has been practicing as an advocate for over 20 years in London and also in various states in Australia (primarily in NSW) and in South East Asia, including Malaysia, Singapore, HK and Seoul.
She has also held the role of General Counsel for Lend Lease Project Management & Construction (formerly known as Bovis Lend Lease), one of the world’s leading project management, design and construction companies operating in more than 30 countries worldwide.
She has advised on and conducted major commercial, maritime and construction, oil and energy & infrastructure litigation, arbitration and mediation involving wide ranging issues. Rashda is regularly involved in cases involving highly technical issues as well as complex legal issues.
Rashda has advised and acted for the Australian Government in relation to various defence contracts, including Collins Class 1 submarines.
Rashda is a CEDR accredited mediator and has been appointed as arbitrator in a number of Australian domestic arbitrations as well as international arbitrations primarily in the Asia Pacific region.
