6 St James Hall welcomes Jessica Zoller and Dr Michael Adams to Chambers.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Jessica was a Counsel at A&O Shearman and also practised as a solicitor at Three Crowns and Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, and as a Senior Federal Prosecutor at the Office of the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions. She was also an Associate to the Hon. Justice Rares of the Federal Court of Australia.
Jessica accepts briefs in all areas of law, and has a particular focus on International, Commercial, Competition and Public Law, and White-Collar Crime.
Michael also accepts briefs in all areas of law, with particular expertise in public law, statutory construction and the interpretation of contracts and other private instruments, appellate law, regulatory law, criminal law and public and private international law.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Michael was a Senior Lawyer and Senior General Counsel (A/g) in the Office of the General Counsel at the Australian Government Solicitor. Before this, Michael practised as a government barrister as the Counsel Assisting the Solicitor General and Crown Advocate for NSW and as an international lawyer at Human Rights Watch in New York. Michael was also an associate to (then) Justice Stephen Gageler AC of the High Court and Justice Pamela Tate AM of the Victorian Court of Appeal.
