6 St James Hall welcomes Human Rights Advocate Madeleine Bridgett

The members of 6 St. James' Hall Chambers are pleased to welcome to chambers Madeleine Bridgett. Madeleine Bridgett trained as a barrister in London and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2011, where she was awarded the Peter Duffy Human Rights Scholarship and the Hardwick Entrance Scholarship by The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn. 

Madeleine comes to law as a second career and brings with her significant experience having worked in the health and social care sectors for many years. She is a strong advocate for human rights, equality and justice and undertakes regular pro bono for various organisations in Australia and the United Kingdom. 

She is a co-author of the recent Journal of Medical Ethics paper "Smoke and mirrors: unanswered questions and misleading statements obscure the truth about organ sources in China" (May 2016).
