Dr James Stellios elected to Council of Australian Association of Constitutional Law

The members of 6 St James' Hall Chambers congratulate our colleague Dr James Stellios on his election to the Council of the Australian Association of Constitutional Law.

The Australian Association of Constitutional Law was formed in 1998 as a forum for scholars and practitioners of constitutional law throughout Australia. The Council, elected every 2 years, has principal responsibility for organising Association activities.

Dr Stellios joined the NSW Bar in 2013 and is an Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the Australian National University, Canberra. Dr Stellios was previously Counsel Assisting the Solicitor-General of the Commonwealth (2000-2001), and was a solicitor with the Australian Government Solicitor (1995-2000) and a consultant with Clayton Utz (2005-2011) and Sparke Helmore (2011-2012).
